Flowers and Stripes Forever
So it was Sunday at Mom
and Dad's, and Tim and Em and Joni were hanging out in the living room. I was at
the 'puter, and I peeked in on them. Tim was wearing this shirt with giant red
and white stripes over the shirt he already had on.
Meg: What are you wearing?
Tim: Clothes.
Meg: Isn't that mom's shirt?
Tim: [singing] Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
[about a half hour passes]
Tim: Hey, Meg!
Meg: What?
Tim: [holding a blue pillow with white flowers on it over his right
shoulder, singing] My country, 'tis of thee...
Meg: Ahahahahahahahahaha...
